This is rare antique Oliver Ditson cornet is from local estate.  This is an early shepherd’s crook cornet and is marked “OLIVER DITSON COMPANY TEST WARRANT BOSTON” (see photos).  It appears to be complete and in tact but is worn and has many dents.  We have included many photos that best show condition.  We are told that this is a rare instrument that is collectible and would be a nice addition to any collection.  It appears that it has been some time since it was played but appears to be functional.
